great looking rod i'm a split grip fanatic but most of mine are spinning rods. are you turning the wood on a lathe or are you using your wrapping machine?

I don't think the recipient of this rod goes that far north. He mentioned a trip to northern Saskatchewan. So that's the "far north" definition in this context. That's pretty far north to this
