Thanks Tom, the first vision of this technique was in the Forum Org, and I used a lot in rods for beach.

That's a cool idea Marco, I'd like to try that on a cat fish rod. What kind of of chemical powder is it and what kind of resin did you use. Thanks for any info you can provide.

If the glow starts to fade get a cheap hot shoe flash for a camera and hit the test button. The flash will "re-charge" the glow. Works on glow lures and the glow paints used on fly heads as well.

I learned it at a fly tying show. I can't remember the guys name but he keeps the camera flash in is pocket and when his fly stops glowing he holds the fly in his pocket and pushes the button. Back to glowing. Keeping the flash in his pocket protects his night vision.
