You have to post a pic of this in action!!! I can pull eight at one time, and this will surely be some sort of record.....you are going to pull all of them at the same time aren't you? LOL.

lol, Im not even going to attempt that. Actually what I do is I close the box lid, let all teh threads hang on teh blank I'm working on, then I vigorously shake teh box for 15 minutes, and > there is some pattern on the rod.

Billy, here's an idea. Drill the holes in the bottom of the case and flip it over when all the spools are in place that way you don't have to worry about tangleage trying to close the top. PS. we do need to see pics of this in action!!!

Dave, the spools need to be threaded through each hole in sequence, so that when the box closes you don't have threads twisted. It's pretty sucky to close teh box and find that you have to untwist 2 threads, or that you put a thread into teh wrong hole - because once oyu open teh box, you always knock a couple of other threads out of the holes and end up having to rethread those too. I would take a photo of it in use, but I only have 2 hands, lol.

I made a similar box but I cut some cheap guides eyes out and epoxied then in the holes so the thread didn't cut the plastic into a notch and bind up. Even with the box I still have some issues with thread twist.

Waste of time, because the threads do not cut into teh plastic or bind up. The threads twist up still, you just need to know how to manage them as you are wrapping.

With my previous wrapper they would cut the plastic. Direct drive sewing machine motor, hit the peddle and hang on! Way faster then I am for sure! The thing was scary. Still got it in the shop. Large diameter blanks were where it met its maker, R.I.P.
