Milton I beleave it is Figured Asian Satinwood, i love that type of wood. great job tony

Thanks for the kind words. The top wood is figured maple. It's a bit more creamy than most other pieces of figured maple that I've been getting recently.

Mike, two part finish epoxy is all it is. I apply it pretty liberally and then use an alcohol flame to heat it up and drop the viscosity. Then, I brush off the excess while its still warm to ensure complete coverage with a nice thin smooth coat. Light sanding between coats. Repeat a couple times until its glassy smooth and done.
