I have seen this rod in person. It is absolutely stunning. It is subtle, and yet the more you look at it, the more depth of art and visual complexity emerges. Great Job Steve

Mark, center feather is an Indian Cock Saddle Patch, Badger (wapsifly.com)Has subtle but distinct brown, badger, black coloring. Outside feathers are a Rooster Saddle Badger, quite thin so I bought it at fly shop in Montana. There are often several packages of the same type feathers in these fly shops but certain ones just jump at you for feather inlays. Thanks

Obed, thanks for the kind words. It was a good day networking with builders in Cedar Rapids. Got a lot of compliments on that rod. Think I'll use that theme again sometime.
