Hi everyone just wanted to get some comments, criticism on my first go. i really dont like the colours i was just making it up as i go. i didnt want to add the gold, pewter but the red blue and silver was way too much. After this it gives me a true appreciation of the brilliant work you all post on here.
Thanks Ian..

the color sceme don't trip my trigger either Ian but as far as the mechanics go that is very very good! Spacing is perfect, packing is excelent throughout. Your first? yea right! (just kidding) it's that good

Thanks Raymond maybe next time ill try something a little less bright. but after the amount of time i spent on that about 11hrs (not kidding!) there is no way im gonna change it. its an old blank so it can just sit in the cupboard (right at the back).
thanks Ian.

Nice for a first. Get the visual wrap program and you will have an idea what it will look like beforehand.

Ian,
I pay close attention for the first couple passes just to be sure I don't mess up the spacing. Then just get the thread on the blank. Pack maybe every 4 or 5 passes depending on the number of threads per pass until the wrap starts to close. Push from the corners inward

Hey Ian. . . Don't ever be afraid of color. Looks like your measuring was right-on and your packing looks pretty durn good, too. Don't know what you'll do for an encore!!! Looks better than my last!
