As a novice rod builder and learning via trial and error. I was thinking of a way to trim the tag ends of the thread tie offs. I was constantly ending up with little nubs that would effect the finish of the rod. So after putting on a couple coats of CP. I took my electric shaver to the nubs and Viola! No more nubs... Im shure somone has a better way to trim the nubs off but hey "Is just a suggestion"!
