This grip is made of zebra wood and white oak. The white oak forms the spider web in the center, the zebra wood on the ends is turned against the grain (cross grain turning) and the lighter colored wood between is turned with the grain. You get two complete different looks from the same wood. The tube was my first with six sides and is also made of zebra wood.

As usual, another great job, wonderful grip and black widow wrap. I like the six sides tube. I'm doing a wrap with two widows with the legs around the blank holding the guide. I"m jealous, I'd like to have some grips like yours. Beautiful, Mark.

Guys thanks for the kind words. Fred the rod is for a retirement gift, I'm counting the years, only 19 more and I can retire myself (lol). Thanks again Mark.
