Pattern from an old 1996 Rodcrafter Journal. 39x106. Learned a little more about the intricacies of weaving...looking forward to VisualWeave software.

Hi Mike I went back browsing to find your work and just now saw this one. Sorry I wasnt shinning you on. Looks good Mike but you do need to fatten her up a bit. Actually IF your wrapping thread was bigger than you pattern thread it will come out fatters using the same size thread. If they were already the same size try using a smaller wrapping thread than the pattern thread. Still it is a great weave. Neede to get together with my male and make some babies. hee hee. Enjoyed our emails.

Alright, thats it!!!...its now titled "Starving female Orca Weave"!!! Its starving because she was all wrapped up in a fishermans net for months that caused all the cuts (gaps)in her side also!!!!

Doc...I used Madiera 40 with A gudebrod wrapping thread...I'll definately try some more weaving soon, with color. I'm just pleased that it came out looking like something that swims!! (I really enjoyed our conversation today. Thanks.)
