Hard to see all the color changes because they are really close in color but in the sunlight it really comes to life. When I did the whipping to cover the ends of the threads I did a 3 thread tiger, Green, Yellow, Beige under and black with 2 sacrificials over, on both sides of the weave. The upper side goes under the stripper guide and the lower goes to the end of the handle assembly. Out here we like long foregrips. The weave is 6 layers and 80x100 threads. I worked it up on the PicToWeave program using a Chuck Byron painting for my idea and modified it twice during the wrap. First time I have come close to keeping the lines of the Moire wrap in line while making the composite picture.

I really like the whole contrast Doc. Your weave sits suspended in the black background with a subtle trim, then the Tiger takes over. Really nice combination.

Doc - these are amazing. I have gotten to where I do nothing but the 3-color wraps and this one is an absolutely gorgeous combination I would not have thought to try. Thanks for sharing. I've got to tell you, the work is great but so is the photo. You really seem to have figured out how to capture these. Really nice job.
