Here is my first flyrod made using a St Croix SCIV 907.4 blank and Fuji Alconite guides. Feather inlay at handle and at each ferrule. Thread color is blue dunn without CP and aquamarine metalic.

Very impressive for the first fly rod you've ever built. And I am sure you have already realized, it is ten times better than anything you could have ever purchased in a production rod. Great job!

Just wish I could get the pictures to look like what you really see. Thanks for the comments. Waiting on the reel to go along with this outfit, can't wait to get out and use it.
