The thread matches the blank almost perfectly. Shouldn't have used it for a trim wrap. IIRC, it is Sunburst.

Exceptionall good work - one suggestion - if these rods are going in and out of a Skeeter rod box you may have problems with the front foot of the Alconites getting ripped off. It looks like that you could have extended the wrap up furthur toward the ring (the one on the top of the picture)on the single foot side. I love the look of these crankers. Good Work on the rear grips!
