Fabio is my first learner and made this 9.0" line weight 4 fly rod for rainbow trout, the handle is corticeira, lighter than cork and the inlay is a brasilian stone: an ametist.

Jorge, I like the look of the wood. It looks like it has some spalting (decay) that adds character.
