Segmented cork from a yoga block (not an exotic cork, a cork block used for exercise) with dyed black veneer. It's a split grip for a Musky rod it doesn't look that large, but the grip is 14" long with a 22mm Fuji reel seat. Field testing will start this week.

Kevin, the Yoga blocks are some where between the burl and the regular cork. It kind of looks like lesser grade of regular cork that they grind and then bind together. It's not as dense as the burl so it's lighter and has a spongeier (not really a word) feel to it. Billy there's actually a dot in the center on this web, but it's black glitter and super glue, it makes it much easier to fill the void in the center and it doesn't stand out like the blue. Thanks Jorge as well, I just wish I could get a better picture of the tiger wrap.
