Playing around with a rod for a friend. Used an open diamond wrap to boarder some waterslide pics. Also trying open ended instead of trimming.

Thanks, Geoff, and yes I printed the waterslides on my inkjet. I've gotten pretty comfortable with the waterslides but this is only my second cross wrap on a real rod.

Thanks guys! I just delivered the rod and Wendy loved it; it's a birthday present for her husband. I did warn her not to leave it in the sun longer than necessary; I haven't had any problems with inkjet decals fading yet but mine have only gone one season so far.

Chuck, I sent you an email detailing my procedures for decals. There are professionals on this board that would be better suited to give you advise and at least one has put together a tutorial. You may want to post a message in the forum and see what extra information you can get.

Thanks, Leong, Wendy's husband wanted to just mount it on the wall, didn't want to scuff it up. I told him it has to land a fish before it's a real rod Smile
