The master at his best. Doc outstanding work as usual, if I can have a 1000th of your talent I would be happy. Guys I have seen the pics of this being created, how Doc doesn't lose himself in that mass of threads.

That was QUICK. Looks much better in thread than it did on graph paper. Hopefully DAve Boyle finishes up VisualWeave this year, so teh old school way can be done new school way in 10 minutes.
Very nice.

Scarey nice Doc!!...thanks for not adding it into a collage type upload. Seeing the threads up close gives a better view of just how much work goes into the weaves I see posted by you and others.

Talent, never - BAH!!! Just sit down and practice and you'll be able to do it as well. I do not think anyone was born with talent to wrap threads on a blank, you practice, learn, improve & get to the point where it takes 2 days to do a weave like this. Not taking anything away from Doc, I'm trying to kick some of you in the butts to get out and try this type of stuff, ratehr than be intimidated by it.

Please read the thread on .org if you havent. You guys are all great and make me feel 10 ft tall. The goal of pictures like this and Jims baby dragon are to inspire everyone to create your own beauty in weaving. Billy V is really right. Anybody can weave beautiful art on rods; it takes patience, practice and desire. I am here to help anyone who want it, whenever they want it. Please use my brain(I hardly ever do) Thank you all again.

Hey Billy now there is talent and then there is TALENT, Doc just knows how to make it all come together, like the fisherman who can read a stream, Doc seems to be able to read the thread. But you are right everyone one is capable, just takes patience and practice.
