I made this grip for a friend that wanted a web full well. I got some input from Terry Henson (Thank You) and think this is a better proportioned grip. The web is made of Maple and dyed black veneer. The reel seat and trim is White Oak Burl from BD Ehler. The uplocking seat was a first for me with a mortise, I used a table saw and jig to make the mortise. The finish is super glue.

Now that would go nicely with a "Black Widow wrap". Beautiful work Mark!

Doc, I got this one out of the way yours is next. I've been slacking off since the show in Feb, finally starting to get some stuff going. Charlie, Jorge, and Mark, thanks for the kind words. Mark

Thanks all for the kind words. Terry the blue dot is crushed turquoise and supper glue. There is always a small gap where every thing comes together and the turquoise is the best way to fill it. You can use brass filings and fine grind glitter as well.
