Here is a picture of the finished balance kit. It uses a thread insert epoxied in the end of the blank, a threaded rubber coated bumper, and brass weights. The large diameter weights installed completely off the end of the blank can achieve neutral balance with less overall weight than putting lead inside the blank.

Looks great. Where did you get the brass weights?

The brass weights are machined from bar stock, I couldn’t find anything off the shelf that would work. They are the most expensive part of the kit.
