The finish looks just perfect! CA glue there?

Thanks for the comments. The finish is Spar Urethane (many coats) followed by successive lathe sandings down to 2000 grit. This if followed by lathe polishing with a heavy cut automotive paint polish. It's not a quick hit process, taking more than a week to complete.
