Michael Joyce Registered: March 2005 Location: Central MA Posts: 1,528	Tom came up to the NERBS booth this weekend saying that thread art was out, and showed us a really cool hand painted egg done by an artist with huge skilz...he was just bustin' our chops, but it got me thinking regardless. I did this mess in '86 on a train to Philly to see YES at the spectrum, do some skateboarding, and visit my sister. The Eggshell Art got me thinking about my cast.

...DUDE! omg...if Tony Alva and Jay Adams only new what we were doing in the east...they'd surrender the name "Dog Town"....lmao. The Egg was VERY cool.

Mike, is tha an inside look into your brain? I see DEc WRaps & grip inlays all over that cast...did you get an advanced copy of my book and copy? This was the groundwork for thread.

Billy...this was done quite a few years before I even new there was such a thing as a custom rod, or thread art...the egg reminded me of this cast jammed in a box in the attic.........kind of weird.

Make note of the "custom" ground notch near the forefinger where the pool cue use to slide...it was like playing on a fixed point constantly and knowbody noticed my winning percentage....the mind never stops Fred.
