Looks nice; I've been wanting to give abalone a try but don't have a clue where to begin with it. Looks like your first one is a keeper.

Jess. . . Gorgeous, and a first attempt, too! WOW! The black makes the color of the abalone really pop.

It takes some builders a long time to relize that black is one of the "brightest" of all finish colors. When done well like this it is stunning.
