Picture after I took the butt wrap off. The Mrs said the butt wrap was too loud. Looking back, I think I will put it back on a bit thinner (not so wide).

Good job Keven. I have tried a number of ways to apply abalone to rods and all of them have their limatations. The technique you used is as good as any I have seen.
