Hope this photo collage thing works! Just deliverd this rod to a friend who wanted a baitcaster for drop-shotting and micro-spinnerbaits. SCV 66MLF spinning blank, with Fuji ECSM, exotic burl, and bumper sprial Alconites. Sixth attempt at tiger wrap, and though the thread was a little too loose and spaced near the butt, he was pleased with the unique result.

Great idea! Did you use Picasa? The rod looks great - I like the tiger stripes on the cork!

I did use Picasa. Unfortunately, I thought you'd be able to select a pic from the collage for viewing. Wrong. I'm going to try it again with a different collage otion or post a single pic that is not so auto-cropped. I've seen Mike Barkley do it, so I should be able to figure it out.

Thanks for the compliment on the rod, Chuck. I love Andy's exotic burls.....there's lots of possibilites and combinations to explore! I was hoping to post pics that were clear and detailed enough to generate some feedback on construction and design without posting all of them individually, but I think these won't do it.
