GUSA 702DHX with 18" cut off the butt, extended with 15mm carbon fiber tubing, split grips are obviously larger cabron fiber tubing, Red REel seat, Aluminum Winding check, and behind the reel seat aluminum trim ring all from Fishing Marunouchi in Japan.

THanks. It will look a lot better once I color the tubing - I didn't have the time as I needed the rod for this Saturday. I've seen some bright REd Carbon fiber stuff on the Easton Stealth Baeball bats, would love to get my hands on some of that. WIll try the coloring the epoxy trick, and mask off the reel seat so I don't make a mess.


Mike - The rod will be there for everyone to use if they want. Hopefully the fishing will continue to be good, and each of the 25 people on board can catch a fish with it, lol. Take one & pass it around.
