This handle is going on a Shikari ISJ590 Jig Stick. It is made from stabilized Madrone Burl & Cottonwood Bark I collected off a downed tree in South Central Alaska in the fall.

Very nice Dave! That looks like it's natural color. I've got a photo on here of one I made of Cottonwood Bark. It is finished with Tru Oil. Soaked it up like a sponge.Yours has light streaks in it, mine was the same color throughout. I guess that's the difference in northern and southern Cottonwood Bark.
Beautiful, I like it.

The colour is natural coated with Tru Oil.
It really has a unique grain pattern and colour.
The biggest bonus is the cost 0$ Smile!
