Barrel sinkers epoxied inside a portion of a 25-06 rifle case.Insert into last cork ring/butt cap,about 1/16" below flush,cover end of polished case head with clear epoxy.Rod Bond the case into the butt of rod blank,,at the same time gluing up the butt cap.

This will work. You adjust the amount of lead in the shell for each rod. Cool idea.

I filed little grooves around the case so the Rod Bond will grip a little better. The bigger the case , the more lead it will hold.
