Found the image at the top. Tweaked it in MS Paint. Opened it in VisualWeave and VOILA!!! I have everything I need to weave this on a rod in 20 minutes.

For the record - I did not touch this image up in VWV at all. I just saved it as a bmp in Paint, modified a couple of colors, and opened it with VisualWeave. To get this ready to weave, I spent an additional 10-15 minutes cleaning up in VisualWeave. From this point, you can either print with the gridlines on paper & weave off of that, or produce a color coordinated left list.

I assume you replaced that lightening bolt thing in his hand, as it is drastically different in the VW image. Can the VW data be imported to excel? I like being able to have it open on a laptop in excel, and to be able to change the font color as I go from one turn/column to the next so I dont lose my spot if, or when, I have to stop.

I changed the book of spells a spool of thread. The other features will be revealed as the release date nears. There is an export feature, and the left list can be opened with Excel.

Just my opinion, but I think the pattern you choose to make a weave pattern out of is WAY too small and detailed to work in a weave. For ex, if you weave this, I'd bet money the face in the finished weave would be unrecognizable as a face. To have a chance at making the pattern, work, you'd have to have MANY more threads in the pattern to pick up the necessary detail to make it look ok when finished. Can't wait to try the program btw.....good luck

This puppy will take a little longer that your average Crosswrap. Are you going to wrap it billy?

Jim, I agree. This pattern is 130x90 threads size A for both the pattern & background threads. You are probably correct, that there is too much detail, but that can EASILY be changed by making a solid color face and etc by touching teh pattern up in the VWV picture editing section. Doc, I'm going to wrap something, not sure what. I am much more energetic about trying weaving now that I am able to create my own patterns.

This particular pattern can be adjusted in a snap by losing a couple redundant colors and altering the pattern threads based on the blank diameter and wrapping thread....in about two clicks of a mouse
