San Lucas Cove about 8 miles below Santa Rosalia in Baja. Great fishing mid Sept thru Oct and awesome in your own boat. Ocean like a lake.

Rogerio. Normally we do catch and release on billfish(except swordys) but we all decided to take this marlin keep about half of it and share the rest with the locals. Believe it or not a young striper is quite tasty if cleaned immediately and prepared right. Sails and marlin over 200 are much less desirable. We let all the others go. Dorado just plain dont get let go. Cleaned and vaccume sealed the last more than a year. Mako meat is almost undistinguishable from swordfish in taste. We do practice C&R on many species though.
