That's beautiful Herb. Tell us your secret. How do you set the abalone in the handle? Is that a tiny gold braid chain used as a decorative tag, Your craftsmanship is always exceptional! Keep those beauties coming!

There are several sources for abalone, but I use Matrix (www.matrix-z.com) 800-657-7866. They sell abalone sheets with an adhesive back. This is my first attempt at using abalone so I still have a lot to learn. Understand Joe Emig is going to cover this subject at High Point in Feb.
