Fernando, The set up looks good but why have you put the guides on backward?

Jim, I just wanted to see who was paying attention to the work I was doing. Just kidding, being thst this is my first spiral, did not even noticed they were on backwards, THANK YOU very much in saving me from having to do a total re-wrap. better yet having to do a total strip than re-wrap.

Fernando,
This is only a personal preference and I'm sure that it will have no bearing on the performance of the rod but I think the guides look better with the arching supports to the rear.
