Finally got this pattern made. Now I need a new nine weight to test it with. I got off on tying flies and have not made any rods lately.

I forgot to add that I have a weave pattern of this fly ready to weave on my next fly rod. I can't decide on a TFO blank or a Tiger Eye. My funds are limited at this time.

Cool looking fly! I wouldn't mind trying a few of those myself.. one of these days I need to wipe the dust off my 8weight and try for some seabass or mahi.

Very nice work Ellis. I don't have the patience to tie flies, but I love to look at them.

Ellis, I also love to tie flies and that's a beautiful one. May I know the actual size as I want to try this on seabass. Thank you.

Nice work Ellis, I also tie flies but have been consumed with the rods lately, this makes me want to kick back for a weekend of watching football, blowing the dust off a Cabernet I've been saving, and tying.

I really like the color combination.

Very nice. I enjoy fly tieing as well. Need to get me some made up for the spring. Really like that pattern - that should catch some fish.
