Stan I am really curious about this rod - casting, conventional, what blank, for the guides on the tip end what is the general spacing for the first three or four. Is the rod rotated in the picture or is the guide pictured standing straight up at 90. Did you bend to lower?

Bill, it's a tiger eye 4/5 wt fly blank. The guide is a #6 Fuji BLAG. This guide came tilted a little off 90 degrees and I forgot to strsighten it. Also the rod was a bit rotated in the photo. I used a single foot, #12 BYAG guide for the for the stripper, followed by a #10 BLAG, then #6 BLAGs out to a #6 tiptop
