Thanks all...Mark, I generally wrap two threads at a time, up to three on the background. The last threads on the pattern are singles to "sharpen,detail".
Teh best wraps I've seen, are done one thread at a time.I just don't have the patience.

I agree with you Mike. I tried filling the background with singles once and it nearly drove me nuts.
