Wrapped this on an 11mm diameter blank and could not close the bird resulting in aoversized head. Body in yellow, sunburst and bronze.

If you can lengthen the vertical height along the blank, the birds will appear thinner. There will be a little problem with the thread as they tend to slight more. I usually put on CP to hold the lead lines so it does not slide, or run your blank with a very fine sand paper and wipe it off with lighter fluid. I prefer the first choice.


Overall, I love the colour combination of the bird. You always have a good sense of colour combination. Cheers

LY, yes I can but then it will not be this version (CRTA 88). If it's on a 16mm diameter blank I could have extended the wing span and it would have been more majestic.

Nice work Anthony. What's wrong with this one not closing at the head? I like that look and I like the color choice. As always, very neat.
