Ronnie Young reminded me of the main reason I took up bilding rods again after a very long time off. Here it is! This young lady is only 6yrs old and she beat both her older brothers (14yrs & 16yrs old!) and everyone else to win the Auburn trout derby last April with an 8lb 4oz rainbow. I just finished building "her own" rod for her birthday which is next week. I should have built her's BEFORE mom & dad's!! LOL

i hope if/when i have kids they like fishing...i love watching kids have fun catching fish as much as i love fishing myself

You are so right I have only built seven rods but three out of the seven are for my girlfriends kids two boys and a girl. Now I need to find the time to take them fishing so they can catch fish on there own rods.

BTW, For those that have not seen me or my photo, the guy behind the girl is NOT me. Addison is my boss's GF's daughter and that is Keith my boss. LOL
