Yeah, the guide wrap is A.. The Butt wrap is a mix of A's and D's.... I would of preferred all A's but, the white, yellow and dark orange are D. the orange, red and purple are A. The rod shop was out of the A's I needed to do the Perfect wrap....I Haven't completed the rod so I'm still up in the air how to finish the other guides...Any suggestions?

What kind of blank are you working with ? What's it's target gamefish ? I would do a second overwrap on the stripper guide with the opposing color in your wrap(is that gold/yellow?). Then I would recreate that for the rest of the wraps.... Pick a good underwrap color and then recreate the same overwraps you did for the stripper guide. Just my 2 cents.

Nice job on teh wrap & underneath. Welcome to teh world of backing yourself into a corner using beautiful colors in the wrap...then realizing you're gonna have to use all of them on the guide wraps too.

The targeted species will be Grouper.. I found the Blank at a rod shop in Tampa with no statistics or Mfg.. I think it's Graphite or composite but Not totally sure.. All I know is it's stiff! Probably 60#-100# Fast 7'
