Top two are the side view and the bottom two are the dorsal view of the not so Identical twin wraps. How many can pick out the differences.

Really nice wraps Doc. I like the way you did these and the tie off's are a killer.

You made it difficult by not giving up the close up view capability. As mentioned, purple is differnt, adn teh bottom has one more repeat, it's difficult to tell if you used a darker shade of Gold (Old Gold?) for the bottom wrap. Another difference is the top rod starts with white and the bottom starts with purple. Another one is how the patterns overlap, on teh top rod teh white going UP the rod crosses over teh white going down, while th purple was wrapped tip to butt then back to tip. Same holds true for the bottom rod, but with the colors switched. Doc, extra points for wrapping a band of like 20 threads, I assume.

As I have always said Billy, nothing slips past you(you have the best eyes in the business. Sorry my picture taking lately is not up to par. I need to start isolating the subjects more. You got it all Billy. The gold is the same and it isnt white it is 619 NCP Gudebrod more like a pale lavender. I was trying to be trickey and mess some up with optical stuff. The shades of purple were not intended. I ran out of one spool of 468 plane and the next one(in the same box) was a bit different. The wrap is done in bands and the order is the same but as you caught the colors are switched but I wanted them both to end at the tip end with the purple. What I was after was it to look much simpler than it was. Sure it aint tough but the person not looking deeply into it wont catch the switch because they are both the same length. I will try to do something a bit more intricate next time - I wanna keep my membership in the NERBS.
Fred was right too but didnt pick up on the switch.
The tiger wrap ties in really well with everything too. Someone is getting a hell of a surprise.
Thanks everyone
