Looks great. If I could be so bold, If I were constructing this split grip, I may have tapered (rounded down) the edges a little on the two peices of cork. It will follow the curvey lines of the fighting butt a little better. Good thread work and a fine look rod.

Thanks. Yes, I would have liked to taper downt the edges, but I'm lathe-less. I was concerened about keeping the cork round if I hand-sanded.
