How did you manage the single thread line? IF that a single thread or is it a marker or pen of some kind? Neat effect.

Nope it is a single wrap. It is one continuous HT metallic red thread. Tied twice then overwrapped with the orange about a dozen wraps, then once again, then overwrapped a dozen, then two more bands.

I forgot to get the thread type. It is made by Gudebrod and is the plain nylon orange color.
