I finally got around to building a few rods for myself and just in time to go to Iowa for the Rod building get together this week end. Right to Left: 1) 8' Crappie Rod built on a ATC 8'-6wt fly blank, made of Kauri and trimmed with corian and a checker. 2) 6'6" Batson Blank, grip is made of Wenge, Padauk and trimmed with corian. 3) St Croix ES66MF trimmed with checkers and corian. 4) St Croix 4S70MF with a Fuji NPS seat, Walnut with checkers and corian trim. The corian makes a great trim and it doesn't split when drilled.
