Needed a little orange in my life. Even with lots of color preserver, it bleeds thru a lot. Doesnt look too bad after I put finish on but not as good as without.

Very right tight and outta sight. Need some shades to look at that. Otherwise you might go blind. Bet that was "fun" to do!

DAve, not seeing teh rod in person, I cannot say for sure. But it might not be bleeding, it might just be light threads over darker threads. Even light NCP threads will slightly darken over darker threads.

Thanks guys. Billy, I believe the bleed I am referring to is the darker orange bleeding thru the yellow. The rod is painted white underneath. All the light colors are very difficult with somewhat darker contrasting colors. You are exactly right.Wish I had time to do more. I am now off to Canada for a while and wont be doing any wrapping. Time to think about what I do next....

Looks great to me Dave. I like the rainbow a little better. This reminds me of an Orange Julius.
