A set of tuna rail rods(designed to lay on the boat rail to fight the fish without a harness)These were intentionally built with longer than typical rear grips (longer than usual for a heavy stand-up-at13")and no gimbals. The Blanks are Calstar Grafighters, GF760H, GF700XH, and GF700ML, Batson reel seats, Batson black Turbos w/blue zirconium inserts (XBSTZG), and All American Sundance roller guides on the 760H. The wraps are: GB 468 NCP base with purple/blue/red marbling, Sulky HoloShimmer purple split under wrap, GB 411 NCP guide wrap with Sulky HoloShimmer blue single inlay, GB 337 NCP and Superior metalic #2 champaign trim bands.

Very nice work. You must either be very compforable with your manhood or a flaming homosexual with your color choice.

Hahaha!!
Scott...Although I am comfortable with my manhood, wasnt my color choice, customer chose it. I built a similar rod for a female customer last year and posted a pic of it on a message board. The customer saw the pic and has been ordering them one right after the other...about 10 so far. To be honest, I am still a bit surprized at how many pink and purple rods I've been building lately...for MEN....straight men as far as I can tell (LOL!). Maybe its a safety measure....to keep them from being stolen? dunno.....

It's funny you say that because I've built a purple rod for a guy and one of his friends wants a pink one. Pretty sure both are straight also. Never thought about the theft issue.

BTW I'm looking forward to trying the Holo wrap. Thanks for that great info in the last issue
