I had posted a purple one of these but found that it was not strong enough and split out. I think that with the addition of the alum. rings that it should now hold up.

Jim, It is Inlace Acrylester from Woodturningz.com They make small 5/8 stock in most of their stuff and 3 colors in larger stock 1 1/2. However you can special order any color if you do six pc. (around $60 bucks) I did three color and was able to find places for all of it. They are really nice folks worth talking with.

Very nice Alan, the aluminum adds strenght and I'm a sucker for shinney stuff in the grips.

Looks great. The aluminum rings sound like a good idea, let us know if it works.

Alan, did you have to email Woodturningz to get the 1 1/2 stock? I can't find it listed on their site. Very nice grip, innovative, and I hope it holds up for you!

Rick,

You can email them or the best thing I found is to give them a call. Last I check there were three colors that were in the larger stock. Color 4,7 and one other. If you would like send me and email and I will let you know if I am doing a custom order for some colors. roycehome@verizon.net

Very nice, what you using to turn the aluminum down? Will your normal woodworing tools cut it as it is softer?
