While far from perfect I'm quite happy with the outcome.I didn't notice the gaps in the butt wind until I applied the finish, hopefully my new visor from Acid Rod will prevent this in the future. The wrap is a shaded spider from Billy's book and the handle is Andy's exotic cork with a King Wood reel seat and butt cap.

Well Dave,
That being your second rod, well your on your way! Pretty ambitious I would say and pretty good to boot! I bit more "hands on" and the threadwork get much easier! lol. The only thing I would have done differently would be to put the fish decal above the butt wrap instead of below it. But that's just me. If YOU like it more power to ya! Nice handle too!

Raymond; I thought of putting the decal there after I finished the wrap but by then it was too late. I wasn't about to redo the wrap, live and learn.

Very nice Dave. Hard to believe that it's only your second rod. Well done. MB
