This grip is of Burl cork and used calling cards from calling home. Has some sentimental to it since the phone cards were used during my current deployment to Iraq. Used a drill to sand and form with emory paper.

Cool idea Reggie - and a very nice way to incorporate a meaningfull element into the grip. Looks nice. I love to incorporate something meaningfull into the rod, it makes it that much more special. My favorite is to inlay a 1930 coin in the butt end in remembrance of my dad - he was born in 1930. BTW - if you are home, thank God you arrived back safely. If you are still over there - keep your head down, watch for IED's, and return home safely.

Nice job.

Great idea to use the cards as trim.
