From left to right, size 8 down to size 1. I took a pic of the top view, and a flat view so you can see the height and the angle of the guides. The LDB's are a unique guide, with the 45 degree angle of the guide ring, it functions as a much larger guide since there is more knot clearance. When I played with teh size 6, it passed knots as well as size 8/10 regular double footed guides.
Teh size 2.5 are also offset at a slight angle compared to a regular L or UN frame. The size 1 guide is going to force me into buying a Micro reel and build an ultra ultra lite rod to try and catch Minnows.

Cool. Great comparison. I gotta get me some of those 2.5's. They would be perfect for a UL rod I wanna do for myself. Where can I find them?

THose are Fuji MKSG, you need to order from JApan. E-mail me and I'll hook it up. OR you can get the ones made by ??? from Custom TAckle. Steve Gardner has been using htose for some time and has nad no problems with quality or performance. Give Bob McKamey a ring and see what he can do for you with those.
