Split grip style handle built on a G Loomis GL2. Contoured wooden handle is comfy, and the foregrip has been drum sanded to expose the the blank. One of the most comfortable spinning rods to hold I've ever touched

These foregrips work great depending on where the fisherman holds the rod!Nice job.

JOe, tha's a great job, I'm glad to see some different shapes in teh grips. I've got one I did myself I will post at some point, I really want to fish it to see if it's as comfy as I hope before posting though. I assume you made the insert longer, and thinned teh OD so the locking nut fits over it? If so you could probably cut down teh threads and make them shorter. I like the foregrip, it's like a pointer finger igloo, lol.

The threads are a bit long, but I decided to leave them because I feared how "polished" the end would look after cutting it on the band saw. Working with plastic like that makes me a bit leery. The "igloo" look isn't lost on me Bill, I think ideally I would like to use a drum sander with half the diameter of this one and give it a bit more contour. Make the cutout look less severe and not so symetrical.
