Technique matches Camo pretty well. Can not wait to follow the instructions in Rodmaker to improve the effect. Scott or Bill if you see this what color thread would you choose.

I think they would use light green, medium green, dark green and black. Sorry to answer a question not directed at me, I couldn't resist. Nice job matchign those grips.

Billy glad to hear from you - which order would you use your colors in - please comment on reg nylon or ncp. I am trying to figure out if the black will burnish in a pattern on the bottom or not. Also do you want the top thread to go translucent to give the best depth perception. I have done four so far and am not satisfied with what I have ended up with. I think to do this you need a better understanding of what happens to thread when finish is applied. Aslo the blank color bleed through wit reg nylon is causing me a problem.

Bill, I was being sarcastic since I stated all the colors in the grip. I havent' done any of these types of wraps, but I do know that I don't like camo...and now I know why, lol.

The Bubbas in the woods down south hunting Bambi seem to connect to this type of artistic endeavor. I think red spiders with gold eyes encased in a silver diamond would be immediately shot! olo!
