Thank you for your comments. Yes Mark they are addictive, these checkers were part of that first batch I tried after the meeting where you demonstrated your technique. I decided to use poker chips instead of wood for finishing bands on them. After that I happened upon some ivory polymer and a chunk of ebony wood, that's when I decided to put the whole thing together with a piece of red cedar I brought up with me when I moved from Mississippi.
