That's cool! Did you wrap the guides to match?

Bill very nice. I like the pattern of the cp. Did you do this free hand or use the rope?

This one doesn't use CP to create the effect. This is the second in the series of three articles that I have upcoming in Rodmaker. I've been sworn to secrecy for the time being so I can't divulge anything else. Read all about it in a few weeks. I'm anxiously awaiting the issue because Scott Throops Tiger Wrap is in there too and I want to see how close we are on some things. One thing I found out he does on spacing is way better than what I had been doing and sure does speed up the process. Future wraps like this that I do will use his method on that. But I haven't been privy to much else so some of it will be just as new to me as it is to you. The biggest trouble people are going to have with this one shown here is that it uses thread that isn't commonly available any more. But the article tells you how to get it. My third article will go even further into something I think everyone will really like.

Looks like an old holland Satin tone thread might be part of it. LiKe maybe 37T or 368T.

The holographic effect came to me by accident when I had messed up a wrap and had to unwind and redo it. You can read about that in the article. The variegated part is something I learned from looking at how light works on a turkey feather. Single colors offset by just a little that look entirely different when viewed as a whole.

Bill I don't know how I missed this one months ago. This is one nice wrap. I have done one on a rod and now I am trying other things. Thanks.
